March 2010 Newsletter

Welcome Spring!
The weather may not be Spring-like when you read this, but we know it will be soon, at least according to the calendar.
It does looks like Spring here at the shop with all the floral prints we have in stock. Come see what we’ve done with them.

Be sure to set aside Saturday, March 27th for our “Batik Blowout” when a select group (of at least 50 bolts) of Batik will be on sale for only $4.00 a yard. If you love working with batik, this is your chance to stock up.

There are new classes coming up, why not try your hand at a Dresden Plate table runner coming up March 27th, or Fractured Quilting in April. Spring is a good time to try something new, a new class or a new project.

As always, “Happy Quilting” from Susan & the girls

Block of the Month
For our current block of the month program we are offering Pat Speth’s “Color Me Happy” in two styles; batik and 30’s reproduction.
Come in to see the samples and make your selection. Or better yet, do both styles and by the end of the year you will have two similar, but totally different quilts. Only $3.50 for each kit.
